About Me

My path into film has been anything but traditional. I studied engineering at Johns Hopkins, spent time in leadership and professional development, and eventually found exactly where I was supposed to be: producing stories.

Growing up, I was the kid who loved math and was destined for a STEM career. But somewhere between being obsessed over Buffy the Vampire Slayer and earning my degrees in engineering and engineering management, I realized that I was just as interested in storytelling as I was in solving problems.

Today, I’m an Emmy-nominated creative producer and showrunner, leading digital series, documentaries, and music editorial projects from concept to delivery. My engineering background taught me how to think systematically, manage complex productions, and solve problems under pressure. And as someone who's naturally extroverted, I love collaborating with artists, building relationships, and bringing creative teams together. Whether I'm interviewing musicians, developing editorial concepts, or managing a production from pre-production through post, I love being in a space where strategy meets storytelling.

A few more things about me...

I'm originally from the DC area but now based in Los Angeles. I'm fluent in English and multiple Arabic dialects, proficient in French, and conversational in Spanish. I love connecting with people from different backgrounds, and speaking multiple languages has made that one of my favorite parts of traveling and working in this industry.

When I'm not producing, you'll probably find me building one of my latest passion projects: Darna, my TV Sitcom pilot about two Arab-American women in their 20s and their eccentric families, Feela, a community designed to help people find clarity in their professional lives and entrepreneurial pursuits, or Her Secret Library, a mobile romance bookstore.
